Lighting Fires Along the Way was written and recorded over a period of several years as dl Salo and Michael Haertlein were each experiencing tremendous upheaval in life. The state of grace between the end and a new beginning held enough space for this album to emerge. Every bit personal as it is experimental, each song draws from the dynamic relationship between love and melancholy.
